Presently working as Assistant Professor at Department of History, PGDAV College, University of Delhi; Dr. Agrawal is a dynamic young faculty with a teaching experience of 5+2 years and more than 10 years of research experience. He is the assistant editor of two prestigious journals namely History Today (Published by The History and Culture Society) and Purapravaha (Published by Indian archaeological Society in Hindi). Earlier in his research career he was associated as Research Associate in The Indian Archaeological Society and been the curator of the Indraprastha Museum, New Delhi. He is also the member of the executive committee of The History and Culture Society as well as member of Advisory Board of the I-SERVE, Delhi Chapter, Institute of Scientific Research on Vedas (recognized as SIRO by DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology). His core research area lies in Economic and Social History with extension to Archeological aspects. He was a site supervisor in the excavation at KARSOLA (A Harappan and P.G.W. Site) in District Jind, Haryana under guidance of Prof. V.S. Shindhe (Decan College, Pune) and Shri P.B.S. Sengar (Director, Institute of Archaeology, A.S.I., New Delhi) in 2010-2011. His research is also focused on Colonial history with emphasis on Educational Policy of India. He has organized several national and international conference and a number of research article, conference proceedings and book review goes to his credit. In short, Dr. Agrawal has wide academic and research interest with many futuristic approaches for exalting the Great Indian History and Archeology amalgamating with necessity of modern world.
