A government with full majority comes not only on political promises made during elections but the mood of the common man to give a decisive mandate .
This mood which decides the fate of any political party in contest, may be the anger for the misgovernance ,public ignorance or policy paralysis which had resulted loot of public fund and failure of law and order.
2014 was a historical change in the country when for the first time a non congress party tested the mood of country in a completely different way and country responded for the dream India : Ek Bharat- Shrestha Bharat , Sabka Sath - Sabka Vikas.
Uttar Pradesh in 2017 witnessed the similar wave for demand of good governance and development and public mandated massively to get rid off the casteism ,corruption ,riots and derail of growth all around in the system and structure.
Amid of this, we are listening some dissenting voices which have sudden become offensively active after 2014 ,asking some kind of freedom from country ,blaming government for their policy initiatives from parliament/assembly to streets and feeling suffocation with the new changes in government and style of governance .
Despite full majority government there are still serious concerns pertaining to law and order and policy execution at the ground level which are challenges for the overall governance in the system .
India Think Council will try to explore from governance and policy experts to address and identify such concerns which are obstacle to good governance .
